Class Today

Thank you Karen, Jackie, and Tara for attending class today and for being my guinea pigs.  I apologize that I was not ready for you when you came, but I still had fun and I hope you did too.  I have to say how much I loved your coloring and I thought you all did a great job.  Karen I liked how your "mistake" turned out.

Thanks everyone and hope to see some of you on 12/20 for the easel card class.  I will be better prepared for that one.

If I am MIA

my sons will be at the store.  They are Eric and Jordan.  I hope they treat you all well.  If not, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  They help me out so that I can run away and watch my daughter play soccer.  She made varsity soccer at Mililani High School.  Go Trojans!!

New name, new look

Hi everyone,

Had the hardest time with my name.  Someone told me that I couldn't have the word "Stampin" in my store name as a big stamp conglomerate owns that word so I changed my store name back to my old name MunchKins.  Since I did that I had to change my blog name and when I did that I lost everything and long story short, this is my new blog.  I also have a website and it is www. munchkinsrubberstamps.com.  In the future that website and my blog will be linked so you can see both.  Until then, please enjoy my blog and hope to see you soon.

December Classes

12/6, Sunday, 2 to 4 pm, Hot Cocoa Box Kit with Cozy Tilda.  You will make this box to fill it with hot cocoa goodness to give away and to top it off with Cozy Tilda holding a hot chocolate mug.  There is room for only 6 in the class.  Cost is $15 + tax.  Call and make a reservation now.  Sample is at the store, come in and take a look.  Hot cocoa recipe stamped and mix to be included in class including peppermint sticks for stirrer.

12/20, Sunday, 2 to 4 pm, Easel Card.  Make the card and after you give it away to your BFF or someone else special, it will stand up by itself.  Cost is $15 + tax.  Same as above.  Sample is finised and at the store.  

Official Grand Opening: 11/14/09

Hi everyone, 11/14 will be the official grand opening date. Please come by and check it out. There will be door prizes every hour, but you need to be present to win.

Tentative Opening Date

Is Saturday, 11/14...I am so excited!!! Hopefully everything will be in by then, but if not there are tons in already. I hope you all like the store as much as I do. It is cheerful, bright, and will be just fun to be there. Great atmosphere and friendly people will be working there. I can't wait to meet old and new friends.

Call for Design Team Members

Hi all,

I am putting in a call for a design team. I am looking for 4 to 6 designers for my store. There will be perks involved. To apply, please send a card or project to the store at: Stampin MunchKins, 95-1249 Meheula Pkwy #202, Mililani HI 96789. If you are chosen to be a design team member you will need to make 10 cards per month for the store and do a short demo on a weekend day. You will get compensated for doing the demo and you will get a DT member discount at the store while you are a DT member and fulfill your obligations as a DT member.

Wow, what isn't new since everything is new as we are not open yet...he he he! I should hopefully be opening in the middle of November. In so far is:

It's Official, Stampin MunchKins is going to be a retail store

Hi all,

Well, it's official, I am opening a store again. For you local gals and guys, the store location will be at the Mililani Town Center next to the Chinese restaurant, Ginger House, and across from Price Busters. Menchies is close by, right across also, so yummy! I hope to open the middle of November and I will have lots of stuff/inventory so I hope you all come on by. I will have some grand opening give-aways and specials, etc.

So, wish us luck and I hope to see you in the store. For anyone else, since I will have no sample cards or scrapbook page samples, I would so love to have you mail me anything. I will have the address listed on the side-bar when I actually have keys to the space.

Magnolia-licious September Mingle to Jackie Hall

Well, here is the card I made for Jackie. I hope she likes it as it is a little funky for me, but I had fun making it. I used the image sent to me by Lillian for the September Mingle she sent me and I just love this Tilda holding her little Jack-o-lantern. So sweet. Halloween is my absolute favoritist holiday of all.

September Mingle Received

I just wanted to share my beautiful card that was given to me by Lillian Abrams, isn't Tilda the sweetest and the colors of this card just make me happy. This was for the September Mingle and we had to use a button and a Magnolia stamp.

Blog Makeover

My blog can't make up it's mind about how it should look. It has changed it's look at least a dozen times in the past few days. I hope you like what it is at the moment.
