Make n Take 12-19-09/Hero Arts Party

Hi all,

The Hero Arts Party didn't really happen since I did not get the make n take stuff in time, but we had fun anyway.  This is the Make n take that we did today.  It was a lot of fun, easy to do, and we had fun using the distress pads from Ranger and using Hero Arts stamps to decorate it.  Here are the measurements.

Outside DP (designer paper) is 3-3/4 x 11-5/8.  Score using Scor-Pal (get it at the store, it is a must have tool) at the following:  1", 6 and a dot, scooch that score line to 7 and a triangle and score at 7-1/2.  Hope this makes sense. 

CS (cardstock) measurement on outside mat is 3-1/4 x 4-1/8.  Top mat is 3 x 3-7/8.
CS (cardstock) on inside is 3-1/2 x 5-1/4.

Staple bottom of matchbook flap using Tim Holtz's tiny stapler.

Construction

Design Team Last Call

Hi everyone.  This is last call for my design team.  I have changed the requirements a little as it seems like some of the gals do not want to demo.  I would love to have card samples made for the store and I could compensate the DT for that.  Please mail in your samples to the store at the address above.  I will make my final decision by 1/15/10.  I am leaving this open until the end of the year.  The DT will get compensated by getting a discount at the store, up to a certain amount per month.

Tilda Card my DD made

Lauren made this card for her Secret Santa swap for her varsity soccer team.  I hope the recipient likes it.  I really like the colors she used.  I also like that she used ribbon for Tilda's pigtails.

Die-cut favors

I made these boxes and stamped a cute little duckie (Greeting Farm) for a friend of mine who needed it for a baby shower.  She knew it was going to be a boy so it was easy to decorate.  Die-cutting services are free if paper is purchased at the store.  These came out so cute.

Class Today

Thank you Karen, Jackie, and Tara for attending class today and for being my guinea pigs.  I apologize that I was not ready for you when you came, but I still had fun and I hope you did too.  I have to say how much I loved your coloring and I thought you all did a great job.  Karen I liked how your "mistake" turned out.

New name, new look

Hi everyone,

Had the hardest time with my name.  Someone told me that I couldn't have the word "Stampin" in my store name as a big stamp conglomerate owns that word so I changed my store name back to my old name MunchKins.  Since I did that I had to change my blog name and when I did that I lost everything and long story short, this is my new blog.  I also have a website and it is www. munchkinsrubberstamps.com.  In the future that website and my blog will be linked so you can see both.  Until then, please enjoy my blog and hope to see you soon.

December Classes

12/6, Sunday, 2 to 4 pm, Hot Cocoa Box Kit with Cozy Tilda.  You will make this box to fill it with hot cocoa goodness to give away and to top it off with Cozy Tilda holding a hot chocolate mug.  There is room for only 6 in the class.  Cost is $15 + tax.  Call and make a reservation now.  Sample is at the store, come in and take a look.  Hot cocoa recipe stamped and mix to be included in class including peppermint sticks for stirrer.

Tentative Opening Date

Is Saturday, 11/14...I am so excited!!! Hopefully everything will be in by then, but if not there are tons in already. I hope you all like the store as much as I do. Call for Design Team Members

I am putting in a call for a design team. I am looking for 4 to 6 designers for my store. There will be perks involved. If you are chosen to be a design team member you will need to make 10 cards per month for the store and do a short demo on a weekend day. It's Official, Stampin MunchKins is going to be a retail store

Hi all,

Well, it's official, I am opening a store again. For you local gals and guys, the store location will be at the Mililani Town Center next to the Chinese restaurant, Ginger House, and across from Price Busters. Menchies is close by, right across also, so yummy! I hope to open the middle of November and I will have lots of stuff/inventory so I hope you all come on by. I will have some grand opening give-aways and specials, etc.

So, wish us luck and I hope to see you in the store. For anyone else, since I will have no sample cards or scrapbook page samples, I would so love to have you mail me anything. I will have the address listed on the side-bar when I actually have keys to the space.

Magnolia-licious September Mingle to Jackie Hall

Well, here is the card I made for Jackie. I hope she likes it as it is a little funky for me, but I had fun making it. I used the image sent to me by Lillian for the September Mingle she sent me and I just love this Tilda holding her little Jack-o-lantern. So sweet. Some Halloween Cards I Made

These images are just so cute. This is a set from Greeting Farm called Spooktacular. I absolutely love Halloween and just had to make these cute guys. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. They have all been colored with Copic markers. I made envelopes for them using my Scor-Pal, love it so much. The cards are 5.5 x 5.5.

Few more Magnolia Tilda cards

Hi everyone, just wanted to share a few more cards that I made tonight. I received my first set of Magnolia stamps directly from Sweden as my summer kit and WOW they are gorgeous. Anyhoo, here are 3 more cards I made. I'm Back Again!

Wow, it has been a long time since my last post, where has the time gone?!? Yes, I have been super busy and no time for myself. One kid is back in school and the other one will be going back tomorrow...YAY!!!

I'm Back

This is not stamp related, but I have just come back from my daughter's soccer team trip. They won the State Cup for their age group (U15) and we are so proud of them. They did well at Regionals, which was held at Lancaster, CA. Boy, I am tired, we were there from 6/14 to 6/23.

Anyhow, just a short post totally not related to stamping. I sure do miss stamping. I have another soccer related trip from 6/28 to 7/4...

Some more cards

Here are a couple more cards I made. These stamps are from All That Scraps, and they are just so cute. I have a ton of graduation parties to go to and I haven't made any cards, better get busy starting tomorrow. I also need to make leis for these kids, Hawaiian tradition.
